Currently looking into setting up a tinyurl-service on iNorden. Found some nice software - needs testing.
As for many of the posts below coming from the same source, it is most likely caused by a glitch in the syndication system when this source was added. I will keep an eye on it, and make necessary changes if the glitch continues.

As the autopinging function is being set up and implemented there are some double posts coming up as a result of earlier manual pings combined with an autoping function which takes excerpts also from a few earlier posts. So if you see a doublepost, that’s the reason. I’m trying to find a way to prevent doubleposting entirely, btw.
Other work to be done includes chopping video and images out of the ingoing RSS, so that only text is acquired. That should prevent some of those cases where the summary is reduced to merely “…”.

Autopinging now works to the Recent Updates-feed. However, there is some messy PHP involved, and thinks are not like they should be backend. Plus certain RSS-feeds do not seem to work.
If you want to try autopinging from your site, use the form to suggest your RSS and it will be added. Note that this is on an experimentary level at the moment. Summary RSS feeds are definitely preferred (preventing unnecessary data from being loaded).

A new RSS-feed has been added at the bottom of the sidebar with news aggregated from various Nordic media. Still in the testing phase. A search function will be integrated, and perhaps country-specific feeds and / or subpages. To see the running test version, take a look here

Pings added to iNPing should now be added in the recent updates field at certain intervals, opening up for comments, and giving them more attention. This post is made to check that titles are not added to new posts added in the normal miniblog-way, which should be titleless.

Bloggrevyen.no has decided to call it a day. Those having used Bloggrevyen for the last years are very welcome to come over and try out iNorden. A iNorden Ping service has been added to the right, and as a test I’ve pinged an article over at the interesting (although dogmatically libertarian, if that’s even possible) web newspaper / blog liberaleren.no, who deserves a bit of attention on their anniversary.
But iNorden 3.0. is more than just a ping service. We’ve put up a Google-powered search. In the sidebar you’ll also find RSS feeds from knuff.se, interessant.se, Norwegian sonitus.org and Danish Blogbot. And we’re working on a newspaper list which will include RSS feeds with the latest articles from a number of the leading newspapers around the Nordic countries. And top of that, there’s plenty of place for conversation.
